The Chinook Society is a registered charity and tax recipets will be issued for contributions of $20 and over.  Thank you for your donation.

The Government of Alberta and the Alberta Lottery Fund approved our Facility Enhancement Project application.  They agreed that our building is a necessity for our community and that an extensive renovation is a worthwhile endeavor.  Their support however, requires that we raise matching dollars from the community of Lethbridge and surrounding areas.  In order for us to complete this project we must raise $65,000 by September of 2010.  We anticipate $40,000 to come through donated services, such as labour, materials and heavy duty equipment.  The other $25,000 will need to be raised as cash.  In order for us to accomplish this we will be seeking corporate, civil and non-profit charitable donations.  This is a one-time fundraising project for us as the Society is sustainable on a going forward basis and will not require additional operating support.

We are humbly approaching you to ask if you would please make a donation to help us with this lofty yet achievabl mandate.  We believe this to be our moral responsibility for a healthier and safer community for everyone.
